Description

A mouth-wateringly piquant tomato-based relish to add spicy zest to any dish. Made only from fresh tomato, herbs and spices and with a splash of Deep South Chilli Vodka to add extra flavour, this versatile relish is truly delicious.

The relish is carefully and lovingly prepared in small batches in Neen’s Kitchen  exclusively for Deep South Distillery and contains no artificial flavours or preservatives.   Although it contains chilli, this is not the predominant flavour, and this is a spicy chutney-style relish rather than a burning hot chilli sauce.   It is excellent as a topping on burgers, hot dogs or ‘boerie rolls’  or stirred into a dish of fresh home-made pasta, cheese-based recipes or home-made pizza.

It also pairs most beautifully with the cheeses on your cheese board or Ploughmans Platter, complementing, in particular, soft cheeses like brie or mozzarella or a good mature hard cheese like Cheddar, Pecorino or Gruyere cheddar.     For some ideas to start with find some suggestions here.
