A surprising and unusual absinthe cocktail. Delicious as a single drink, and equally tasty as a punch in a bowl to get your party started!


  • 35ml (1½ tots) Deep South Absinthe
  • 25ml simple syrup
  • 25ml freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • 50ml chilled water
  • 4 thick slices cucumber, no rind

To make

  1. Muddle cucumber, lime juice and sugar syrup in a glass.
  2. Stir in absinthe and then fill with ice.
  3. Garnish with cucumber slices
