Serve it ice cold, or it becomes sweet and sticky, and preferably use freshly squeezed orange juice. If you are a vodka lover, for a more punchy drink, serve with a triple shot of vodka so the bite of the vodka can make itself felt above the strong tastes of the citrus and go easy on the seconds!
Ingredients
- 50ml Deep South Premium Vodka
- 100 ml freshly squeezed orange juice or to taste
- 10ml simple syrup
- Orange slice and mint to garnish
- 3 dash Deep South Orange Bitters (optional)
To make
- Build the vodka, orange juice and simple syrup over ice in a Collins or highball glass
- Stir well and garnish with Orange slice and a sprig of mint
- Add a few dashes of orange bitters on top
Variations
- Punch it up by adding another 25ml of vodka to the mix
- Float 12 ml Galliano on the top for a Harvey Wallbanger
- Add a dash of grenadine for a Sunrise effect
